Getting to Telluride

Everyone knows that Telluride is hard to get to, but not everyone knows how worthwhile it is when you do get there. With 25 years of experience flying in and out of the Telluride region, we have it well understood. Please feel free to contact us for help. Here are a few tips to bear in mind while planning your trip:CFAlogo_Final Color_BW_HR

Utilize other regional airports:

  • Cortez (1.25 hrs)
  • Grand Junction (2.25 hrs.)
  • Durango (2.5 hrs.).

There are shuttle services to most airports but sometimes it is worth renting a car even if you do not plan to drive much.

If you can adjust your days slightly, often times you can find inexpensive flights and maybe even get a extra few days in Telluride.

Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) is a 10-minute drive away from Telluride and Mountain Village, and offers convenient access for private planes and charter flights. Shuttle services and car rentals are available, and many Telluride and Mountain Village hotels also offer complimentary pickup and drop-off services.
